Deep Dark Vanilla is a sweet fragrance centered on vanilla absolute, in a rich, smoky, and toasted version.
The idea stems from a belief of D.S., the brand's founder: vanilla absolute is among the most beautiful raw materials in perfumery, because it blends discreetly with other notes, something synthetic vanilla cannot. Fragrances built on the latter, he believes, tend to be sweet and cloying. On the skin, however, authentic vanilla is warm and indulgent, conjuring images of jungle vines and happy moments past.
